There’s hope for everyone. Balance the early stages of gastro diseases without medicinal aid.
The gut is the first place where our food goes. It plays the most crucial part in our body’s functioning. Without digestion and absorption, the food cannot provide any nutrition to our body. The gut also provides immunity function and Gut health has been related to the proper functioning of all other organ systems including the nervous system. Hence, it is very important to manage/ avoid gastrointestinal & liver diseases.
Recently a famous oncologist stated, ‘In recent years the cancer cases growing in India are related to diets and not other factors’. The Liver Foundation India states that 1-2 lacs of people die of liver disease every year and almost 2 lacs are diagnosed with end-stage liver disease. Common problems that Indians are facing with Gut health are GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), constipation, and IBD (Irritable Bowel Disease) ~ approx 1.4 million cases according to 2016 stats. We also have challenges with kids who have constipation, or allergies like celiac disease.
All this needs to be managed with diet. We at The Basic Meals will guide you step by step.
The first step to managing gastrointestinal & liver diseases is that we will work on the symptoms, as management of symptoms will only need tolerance of proper nutrition.
Secondly, we will work on providing the deficient nutrients. Most patients lose a lot of protein weight with Gut-related diseases and are not able to tolerate protein-related foods. This needs a lot of discussion and counseling. Every patient is unique, hence discussion with planning is very important.
Third, we will also educate on how to manage the symptoms in the long run to lead a healthy life with fewer complications.
We do not claim to reverse the disease, as that is usually not possible. But balancing the symptoms helps to lead a healthy life. We assure results but our human body is very complex and needs time to heal. We do not claim that you would be free of all medications, but most of our patients are put on minimum doses.
